Five Guys Burgers

Five Guys Burgers is the place to binge! Burger, burgers, BURGERS! And those FRIES in the greasy bag! My mouth is watering right now just thinking of their food. When a Five Guys opened around me, it easily became my favorite burger place. It’s where I’d eat as a celebration or before getting really serious about getting strict with my diet.

Five Guys Burgers

I usually get a double cheeseburger “all the way,” meaning filing the burger with every topping in black on the menu board: mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustards, and green peppers.

Man oh man does that sound good!

Once in a while I do get the bacon cheeseburger all the way, as you know I love bacon. It just depends on the mood I’m in.

Regardless of what mood I’m in when I’m at Five Guys, I’m definitely in a positive mood. The experience there is like no other. You walk into the restaurant in my area and it’s most likely packed unless you come at some weird hour. You order and only have to wait a little bit longer than most fast food places but it’s worth it as the quality of their food is phenomenal.

During this wait, I keep myself busy with their peanuts. So good! Also, I usually treat myself to some Cherry Coke as a I wait for my order to finish. The combination of Cherry Coke with the salt from the Cajun fries is like a match made in heaven. That’s right. If you get the fries, you MUST get the Cajun version. The Old Bay-like seasoning is a world of a difference. You’ll never go back to the plain fries unless the Cajun flavoring isn’t your thing.

If you can’t tell already, Five Guys Burgers is really just a binge place for me. Sure they have vegetarian sandwiches on their menu, but I can’t actually see myself trying to be healthy here. That’s why I pretty much reserve my eating here for celebrations and Carbicide Saturday meals.

By the way…random fact…did you know the father of Kris Humphries (Kim Kardashian’s husband for 72 days…oh and also member of the New Jersey Nets I guess…) owns a Five Guys franchise!

You know what’s disappointing though? From that video, it seems like there are more than five guys working at his place…uh…
